This is how I’ve been getting perennials from buildings that are in the process of being sold. Whenever the building is purchased by whomever they just rip everything out or tear it down. So I’m getting some free plants. People don’t think twice when you wear the vest.

“Jim called me” is extremely powerful. I deal with facilities/operations guys at industrial sites every day and a solid 25% of them are named Jim.
Of course, every strategy benefits from research beforehand. Identify loading docks, which always have less security than the front door, and do a little research on LinkedIn first - get the actual names of some guys running the site.
