As long as they think their government is punching down on “those” people (and that they get license to do so at least a little bit, too, without any repercussions) and that people like Pedonald are unleashing people to “own the libs”. I think some would be even fine with going without a few meals just to make it happen, if you want to be honest.
This right here is why it is so important to stop spending time and energy trying to reach trump voters.
Their single voter issue is “hurting the right people” and the “right people” is you.
The people who need to be reached are the people who don’t pay attention to the news.
The people who need to be supported are the local people you know affected by this, and the Democrats, because they (along with continued support whilst using primaries, local and state politics to shift them left from within), are the only pragmatic way to unfuck the situation.
