To be VP, you have to be eligible for the top spot. Trump will have already served twice so he’s no longer eligible.
Not legally, no.

“20%-30% of code inside the company’s repositories”
Now, if they had said “20%-30% of code written in the past 6 months…” I might buy that.
The repositories are going to have all the current codebase, likely going back years now. AI generated code is barely viable at this point and really only pretty recently.
No way 1/3rd of all current codebase is AI.

Tried to pay a credit card through the app last week.
“An error has occurred.”
So I just, you know, called the number on the back of the card and paid it through their IVR.
Yup. If you’re on unemployment and have to hit an application quota, you can’t afford to be picky. :)
Quite a lot of job portals are not only Windows dependent, they can even be I.E./Edge dependent.
It’s godawful, so many things don’t work in Safari and it’s because Apple can’t stand other people coming up with “standards”. :)
For me, it’s tough. I’m in a super blue state. Everyone here, with one notable exception, believes Trump needs to be stopped.
You can guess who: 😏

But protesting HERE doesn’t mean much. Like I say, WE KNOW. We mostly all agree. We also protest all the time, for no reason at all.
Same for Washington, same for California. I guess we could pack up and go to Idaho to protest, but they strike me as the kinds of people who won’t look kindly on folks from another state telling them how to vote.
If there were a giant protest in D.C.? That might get attention.
I’m of two minds…
First, I’ve heard a LOT of the Cardinals doing the voting were picked by Francis, something like 80%, so that’s a good sign for maintaining whatever progressive policies the Church has.
OTOH there is an undeniable shift to the right wing globally. Does the Church want to follow that or not? Would it benefit the Church to go along or resist? 🤔
May 10th… 12 days…

666! Checkmate Atheists!
If you’re talking burial plots, that’s not something you can bring with you. As an island state, Japanese real estate is at a premium.
Windows for interoperability.
Try job hunting without a Windows machine. Good luck!
(My wife hates it when she hits websites that don’t work properly and starts swearing, then I ask “Are you using a real browser or just Safari?” - “FUCK YOU!” Somehow we’re still married. 😀)
Solving Japanese gender disparities isn’t going to help them with the lack of Islamic burial plots, Halal food, and places to pray.
That’s a little bit bigger of a problem than “cultural differences”.
Why? Israel is completely blocking food assistance from getting in and has thoroughly destroyed any infrastructure for food production (or anything else, really.)
What’s difficult to grasp about that?
Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson currently.

So here’s a pie in the sky scenario:
2026 - Flip the House, Hakeem Jeffries becomes Speaker.
Flip the Senate with a majority large enough to impeach.
Remove BOTH Trump AND Vance.
President Jeffries.
