First time I flew out of Des Moines many years after 9/11 I bought a bottle of water at the little cafe thing right before the security line and then the TSA woman told me to get rid of it.
I was shocked… like, she literally just watched me buy it 1 minute prior.
I stupidly said “what it’s not like its a bomb or something…” and then the eyebrow went up and she said “toss it in the trash right now.”
So that was like $4 down the shitter which at the time was a lot for a damn bottle of water, but at least I didn’t end up in prison or something. What a fucking joke this country is though.
25 years later you still can’t bring a bottle of water on a plane, you gotta buy one for $7 once you get felt-up and nude-photographed
Did the water bottle filling stations by the drinking fountains beyond the security line get taken out?
in what airport? that’s not a standard thing by any means
When there’s no filling station, you can always use a sink. SEA-TAC has an abundance of filling stations, though.
