People (it’s mostly guys) who take pics like this without cleaning it up at all annoy me because its a combination of “look how fucked up i got and how tough i am” with “Haha look how nonchalant and quirky i am” and it’s like, of course you’re nonchalant, it looks like you got into a jam jar and forgot you had hands, if you washed away blood there would be no serious wound, nothing scary or impressive to warrant a picture at all. I’m sure I looked worse than this in elementary school when I was the nosebleed kid.
You’re not wiping that off, a lot of that is bruising with the bloodier looking parts actually being stitches. Also a pretty good visual example of how the sunken circular structure of the eye socket protects the eyes.
Am I misunderstanding the injury or does it look like you could clean off most of that blood with a wet paper towel?

Might be glue?
The shine and the way it flakes, I feel pretty confident that it’s something similar to super glue. They use that stuff for closing wounds too.
