ask them how much confidence they have in the Democratic Party to fix it

    Yeah, well…

    That’s just their opinion man.

And opinions are largely formed off what the media says. And pretty much all the major media in America are sucking off trump or intentionally and constantly ignoring everything progressives and the DNC are doing.

Shit is better than a lot of people think, because they don’t understand how bad it actually was.

They can’t do anything DC because they don’t have the numbers.

The ones doing stuff are back in their home states working to add to Dems numbers in midterms. Then hopefully we can mitigate some damage. Then in the election after midterms we got a shot to actually fix shit.

How are Republicans so effective as a minority party then? Because people keep saying this ignoring that Republicans have “not had the numbers” within recent memory and been a lot more effective in getting the things that they want done still. Is it maybe because the corpo dems bend over fucking backwards to let the republicans do what the want e.g. Chuck Schumer lieing his ass off and saying they’ll get something they want then voting in a bill that had nothing dems want.

Because enough Neoliberals will side with Republicans against the dem.party platform…

Was that really not obvious already?

They don’t control the House or Senate. Even when they do get a bare majority in the Senate, they refuse to eliminate the filibuster which means the Republicans can require a 60 vote majority to do ANYTHING and nobody has 60 votes.
