Gov. Gavin Newsom signs redistricting plan to counter Texas' new congressional map

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed California's new redistricting plan that could slash five Republican-held House seats to counter Texas' mid-decade redraw of its congressional map.

Edit: Title updated. It has officially passed both the state assembly and the senate. It’s officially going to be on the California ballot in November.

  Yeah, that county is the most clearly gerrymandered district in the state. Also, it looks like a giant dong.
