I was recently looking for a job and all the Dunkins around me were hiring like crazy. Thing is though, they pay shit wages and everyone knows it, so the job ads had to be disguised. They were all under a parent company name and never had pay info listed. It wasn’t until you clicked the apply button that it took you to a site with Dunkin Donuts listed on it. If you have to trick people into working for you then I don’t trust you to make me something im putting in my body.

I dont know how DD stays in business. I’d rather have Hostess or Little Debbie donuts. Or Lender’s bagels. Or Kirkland precooked bacon.

The food has never been the main attraction anyway.

Some of them are good and somewhat consistent, especially if you start to know the employees. So people get used to getting their coffee somewhere and then see the same place somewhere else and assume the experience will be good.

Personally I think it’s all a waste of time. But I have poor taste and will drink stale black coffee… So my opinion probably isn’t important.

I ordered an egg bacon croissant from ond, and I saw the guy drop my egg on the floor, put it back in the croissant, heat it up in the oven, and then try to hand it to me like nothing happened. Bugged out when he gave it to me, but my fault for ordering food from there.

I always thought this was mainly a US thing (the super sugary coffee drinks,in gallon size), until I talked to some Italian friends that drink cappuccino with more sugar than milk. And they describe it as being something that their parents did as well.

To be fair, the “gallon size” you see in the meme is 90% ice, 9% milk and 1% “coffee.” Dunks is selling plastic cups with ice for over $5.

I think if you post a lot of money for something you should have every right to raise hell if they give you a shit product.
      that mentality only increases enshittification
