I think I used to know what “woke” meant, and I thought it was a good thing to be “woke” but the word seems to be used in different ways by different people. Closest thing I’ve seen to actual “doublespeak” yet.
To be clear, I thought woke meant “to be aware” or “to know you need to learn more about certain issues”. Education and learning is good for the society (not so good for an authoritarian leader though).
