For passenger planes yes (I think most are retired before 20-25), but freighters fly longer.

Trump tells the reporter “he’s been launching missiles for decades”.
So has the US - there are regular ICBM (Minuteman III) test launches

First time charging the ebike and got about 80mi/kWh. it’s a class 1 (assist only) but still … 20x the mileage of an EV, with a battery that has less than 1% the capacity.

How long until aides just make fart sounds to drown out questions?

But how would they launch it? DHS does have mq-9 predator drones, so maybe they’re arming them. Or maybe they’re buying javelins

You mean Citigroup

1000 miles it seems
the weighted average of cost/miles is $383.36 million.

“never enough” mentality

Even Hank Green is peddling micro transaction apps now

Is it an old bowl? Could be crazing

Mamdani outflanked yet again

Still a fiat though

The US finally builds modern rail infrastructure but it’s to disperse ICBMs
Edit: we are so back

Someone was looking for this paper in another thread I can’t find.
Each of four theoretical traditions in the study of American politics—which can be characterized as theories of Majoritarian Electoral Democracy, Economic-Elite Domination, and two types of interest-group pluralism, Majoritarian Pluralism and Biased Pluralism—offers different predictions about which sets of actors have how much influence over public policy: average citizens; economic elites; and organized interest groups, mass-based or business-oriented. A great deal of empirical research speaks to the policy influence of one or another set of actors, but until recently it has not been possible to test these contrasting theoretical predictions against each other within a single statistical model. We report on an effort to do so, using a unique data set that includes measures of the key variables for 1,779 policy issues. Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence. The results provide substantial support for theories of Economic-Elite Domination and for theories of Biased Pluralism, but not for theories of Majoritarian Electoral Democracy or Majoritarian Pluralism.
