there’s also the TransVoice discord and Scingustics which should be listed in the .party links, with their own resources, communities, and practice spaces
I always feel too nervous to get on a voice call though, mostly because I expect everyone to be way younger than me
as far as I know, there isn’t anything even kind of close to what you’re looking for (but I’d be super happy if someone came and proved me wrong because I’d benefit from that too)
you could download any of the numerous apps that track your pitch, but pitch is a relatively small part of what you probably are looking to achieve.
unfortunately, the best resources I’ve found are from YouTube videos and like, random collections scattered around the web
TransVoiceLessons on YouTube has good introductions to what’s most important to practice, even if her videos can be a little too jargon and theory-focused for my taste. like, I guess it’s cool to know the names of the different resonant chambers in the throat, but it doesn’t help me get a voice I like, y’know?
Renee Yoxon teaches a very similar technique and more concise, but I have trouble learning from someone whose voice never dropped since I learn best by imitating. might work for you though
I really like how SeattleVoiceLab sounds, but I’ve never been able to take anything useful from her videos. I like trying to imitate her though
https://transvoice.party/ has good guides, specifically the “collection of Selene Da Silvas clips” link under Documentation
I’ve hit a pretty bad plateau myself, so I’m considering just living with how I sound at the moment until I can afford paying for some in person lessons. technique and practice helps but feedback and feeling comfortable using your trained voice in front of other people is the biggest hurdle I’ve encountered by far
I support this as it would help me learn Chinese
Apartheid Defense League is what I’ve been seeing

and yt-dlp has continued development, though i don’t honestly know how big the differences are
genuine question, do people like the windows 11 UI? I know you can make it more win10 like but by default I think it looks ugly
i’m in a three person book club with a drug addled amnesiac cop, we’re levitating matchbooks with our minds, fuck you mean i’m not organized
good post, thanks for clarifying
wow it’s just like my favorite apolitical video game Bloodborne
something about how anything too unrealistic will alert the target’s subconscious to being inside of a dream
idk inception doesn’t really make sense and is basically just the matrix but straight
weird, this ballot just has a lopsided clock drawn on it
don’t worry, I know, I was just expecting worse. to expand, I just mean what she says makes sense if you must strictly limit your scope of engagement to what might be possible within the Democratic party. Luckily, you don’t gotta do that.
As we confront a second Donald Trump presidency, we have two tasks ahead. First, try to learn from what happened. And then, make a plan.
I have a plan. I have a plan. I have a plan. I have a plan. I have a plan. I have a plan.
EDIT: I read the rest of it and I actually don’t disagree with much of what she said lol
r/TheTrove is trying to keep it going on a telegram group but i’m not noticing too much stuff you can’t find elsewhere. only been up and running a day though
