    Sacha Baron Cohen mentioned that, during the filming of Bruno, when he was in Israel, that was the closest time he ever got to being killed. Because he was acting like a flamboyant gay man, a mob attacked him and tried to stone him.

    I was coincidentally walking around the National Mall on the day of that pro-genocide “March for Israel” and saw a toooon of people with combination Israeli/Pride flags and I just wanted to ask them “Hey out of curiosity is gay marriage legal in Israel”

    west bank settlers meanwhile are extremely tolerant of LGBTQ+ people.

    even Israel ‘proper’ is extremely reactionary but West Bank settlers are on another level.
