    I wonder how many of these conversations would even still be intelligible in 50 years, given all the slang and memes.

      I really dont think people will care about those things in the future. Data is worthless, there’s too much of it.

      We treasure pictures of our great grandparents because there is like 3 existing of them on the planet. No one cares about a billion stock photos existing only digitally.

      Actual objects may be better (ie, great grandads core i7 machine, man, can you believe they lived using these dinosaurs ? It doesn’t even run at 2.3 QHz! And only a 20 tb hdd?? I cant survive without at least 300 petabytes. )

        Imagine your grandparents had a whole shelf of diaries, and they have decent legibility once you get used to their writing style. Would you read it, or go tl;dr? I’d definitely start digging into it.
