IMO, the prerequisite for cheaper EVs is offering models that are not SUVs. The article is a bit ambiguous about this, but “European-made models will include two compact and one midsize SUVs with combustion, plug-in hybrid or all-electric powertrains.” sounds to me like they’re mostly going to make ‘compact SUVs’ and ‘midsize SUVs’. Or the article’s author just focuses on their SUV offerings while ignoring smaller cars.
What’s your issue with German auto unions?
Jau.
Nice!
I’ll probably die of dysentery. Just because I know modern hygiene rules doesn’t mean I’ll survive interacting with all the other people who don’t but are used to local bacteria and viruses.
Only one of those is actually what I’d describe as “polo shirt and sweatpants” - first one isn’t really wearing sweatpants (and doesn’t have super hairy legs like many men) and the third one isn’t wearing a polo shirt. And yeah, the look might work if you’re fit and at least know how to pick clothes that match (color and fit) both with each other and with the way your body, hair etc. look. But the way you’re describing yourself doesn’t really sound like it.
OP seems to care about appearances a lot, they’re just not good at it themselves.
IDK dude, god not existing at all still makes the most sense to me.

That really doesn’t solve the problem, like every other Firefox fork they’re completely dependent on Firefox. You can’t just make a new webbrowser just like that, and while third party developers can certainly disable some anti-features, there are limits to that and they can definitely not do the basic work that the Firefox devs do (or could do, if Mozilla had different priorities).
Ideally it would be financed by user donations. Probably not that realistic for a project like this, though.
Considering how little they invest into their core product compared to all the other shit and how much money the top brass earns despite declining market share, I don’t think they’re hurting for money that much.
Unfortunately, Mozilla is investing a ton of money into AI, too.
I’ve been seeing quite a lot of chinese cars, actually (all of them EVs). I think they might be more common than Tesla in my area.
