    Was looking for what a cane corso is (dog breed) and then why they stare. I did find this (haven’t read through yet). Hope it helps

      This makes so much sense, I don’t know how I haven’t seen this page! My dog is a lab/corso mix, so very loyal!

        Sorry for abdelay. This from the article seems to sum it up

        There could be many reasons why your dog is staring at you, but some of the more likely explanations include that he is trying to determine whether or not you pose a threat, he is trying to get your attention or he is trying to read your emotions.

        He is essentially communicating with you and trying to establish a connection.
