Who is this fellow for someone who lives under several large rocks
Columbo
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1466074/
He’s a brilliant detective who mostly hides how brilliant he is behind acting oblivious and dumb. A bunch of influence for
comes from him in my opinion.
I’ve only watched a few episodes but he also seems to mostly investigate prideful upper class people, which also makes him satisfying to watch. It’s also the only reason his schick works so well imo, and why they don’t just call a lawyer or refuse to say anything lol.
Yeah fundamentally it’s their own arrogance and superiority that makes them underestimate Columbo. They think “I lucked out, this cop is stupid” and never consider anything beyond that, the guard comes down completely.
“Oh, possibly a few people.”
“Interesting, interesting, so where are those people now?”
“…”
believe it or not no. it was crazy. we were the only people there. we were just talking about how wild it was that we got here and no one else was here. we were like “woah, we’re the only ones here. this is all ours.”
i mean i just remembered there was like a couple people i think but i don’t really know what happened to them or anything and we just saw like one or two and i don’t know they looked like they were leaving so i didnt think much of it but yeah we were like the only people there
This works as a leftist meme format for practically any questionable event in history
“Ya know Mr. von Braun, I find this rocketry stuff fascinating. The idea that that we have the technology to send a man into space? Truly incredible. But it’s funny, I was reading this book about WWII, and the head of the V2 program in Nazi Germany was also a Wernher Von Braun! Now what are the chances of that? Two von Brauns who both work on rockets?”
It’s a brilliant format
hey they discovered iceland i guess
Not anymore if I have anything to do about it, lieutenant Columbo *evil smirk*
