I’m a hardcore Verhoeven fan so I always talk about his movies. I often say, jokingly or not, that we’re moving deeper and deeper into a Verhoeven dystopia. Megacorps with inclusive and unisex bathrooms, deeply conservative politicians that believe in sexual freedom, gender inclusion… Fuck, even racial justice depending where you talking about. Everything nicely packed in the same fascism as ever.
We’re speedrunning towards the next Mussolini (at least) but they will be a woman. Lesbian and trans even, if reality itself doesn’t collapse around them.
