Yeah it definitely feels nice that’s for sure 😄 I was caught off guard the first time one of my friends rubbed my cheek instead of the usual head pat and I was like wait I felt something 😳

I’m totally gonna turn into a virtual cuddle slut aren’t I lmao

You guys are basically edging your brains into producing oxytocine.

I mean, if it works. Having a roommate I can hug almost whenever I need literally solved some health issues for me, so I won’t judge. Whatever releases that damn oxy.

Haha true. I mean I also have a cuddly partner who I live with, I got into vrchat mainly to have friends but I’m also quickly realizing it’s also full of gooners and touch starved people, and lots of queer and trans furries. Which is cool too, they’re a lot of fun to be around.

They’re the same picture .jpg (at least in the corner of the VRChat community that I’ve been in, not necessarily in general)

I feel like it’s very similar to the kink community in that there’s heavy overlap between marginalized groups so you get outsized representation of certain demographics. People who are sex positive, live nontraditional lifestyles, tend to be very open and accepting, which makes a lot of sense considering the typical values of queer and furry communities. I also had the experience of going to IRL kink events and noticing that there were a lot of anarchists.
