        No they’d still use that angle; people have been posting Kirk’s anti-empathy diatribes and him saying he’s fine with people dying so they can own guns and the replies are still angry with the people just simply QUOTING Kirk.

        Which itself isn’t new; there was a British royal that died in the last couple of years (can’t remember his name, but he’s a famous one) and someone revealed some extremely racist quotes of his, and who did people get angry with? They got angry with the guy who revealed that royal’s words (and he wasn’t even revealing it cause he hated the guy, he was just mentioning stuff he’d said).

        These people don’t give a damn about the content of their favorite person’s character.

        They don’t give a shit about that, he literally could’ve murdered some of his children and his wife and they’d still be talking about how tragic it is that the remaining children have lost their father. They don’t care about anything other than pushing a narrative that fascists are only wrong people to murder.
