Great reminder. I’ve had skin cancer a couple of times and I’m far from what you’d call the outdoorsy type. Caught early, it’s a very manageable condition. Keep an eye on your moles and if any start changing quickly, schedule a dermatology exam. I get annual checkups.
i had a nevus spilus check, because it was growing since teens, the derm looked with the scope and dint think it was anything atypical. it is growing slowly though.
I need to do this. But I’m in america without insurance so I guess I’ll just wait to die.
ABCDE. also non-melanoma skin cancers are more common. like bcc and SCC, but less likely to spread than melanoma, BCC is the one that is the most “benign” SCC is the same, but depending on where its forming from.
