    I had the same thought. There must have been more to the story. It was kinda damning tho that they didn’t really deny they were ICE. That would have been the one thing I definitely would have said if I weren’t ICE lol

      Is there some rule that they can’t legally lie if they’re asked directly if they’re ICE? That might be why they just chose not to say anything.

      I’ve been in a similar situation where I had a guy come to the restaurant I was working at and sit without ordering or asking for anything and just generally being sketchy pants. After I approached him a couple times, he did identify himself (quietly) as a cop doing surveillance on someone across the street.
