A week ago, the Bolivian left-wing party, the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), currently led by Luis Arce, decisively lost the round of elections against the right-wing. This comes after a prolonged period of “infighting” between Arce, and Morales, who previously led the MAS prior to the 2019 coup which briefly installed Jeanine Anez.
I put infighting in quotes because despite the nominal similarities between Arce and Morales, it is clear that this is not merely a counterproductive battle between two men - instead, the Bolivian left has arrived at a time of unavoidable conflict between two competing strategies. The electoral strategy is represented by Arce, who has aligned himself with a more middle-class-oriented campaign that is more economically liberal, whereas Morales represents a more working-class-oriented campaign that seeks to go further than tepid reform.
Such a conflict between electoralism and revolutionary action is inevitable in any and every developing country that 1) possesses a functioning left-wing party or organization, and 2) is under internal and/or external pressure by capitalists. This crisis must be resolved eventually - and this electoral failure is how such a crisis is manifesting right now. So while the Bolivian left has indeed lost the election, it is not yet defeated. The revolutionary campaign can, if it is willing, still ultimately stand triumphant. But what must be done is a real movement towards socialism, which goes beyond technocrats reforming from above, and instead transforms the state into a full political project of the working class, in which their movements, organizations, and protests are genuinely empowered. Such a project will involve repression by the forces of reaction, not least by the United States, but it is the only road left to take.

Is there really an increase in “actual antisemitism” though? David Miller has proved that the data is artificially inflated in the UK to include anything about the zionist cancer and things that are made up. It makes sense it would be the same in the US.
I think its dangerous to even give credence to the zionist narrative in the first place. Jews arent structurally discriminated against based on their religion. Even if some violence happens then I’m not sure why I should care about a small amount of white on white violence.

Jewish clergy being arrested by the state for publicly standing for what they believe to be their core Jewish moral obligation in opposition to an antisemitic political ideology. Or more succinctly, rising antisemitism.

The US engaging in openly repressive strategies of fascism is not unique to Jews. Pretending its unique to Jews is philosemitic
Antisemitism can co-exist with other forms of depression and prejudice without throwing around accusations of philosemitism. Jewish professors being fired from universities for opposing Israel is antisemitic even if non-Jewish ones are also repressed. The president of the United States saying Jews are and should be loyal to Israel is antisemitism even if he is also racist and sexist and the rest. Erasing Jewishness and replacing it with Zionism is antisemitism. Legislatures adopting the IHRA definition of antisemitism is itself antisemitic. And that is more prominent than it has been in the past 50 years.
The US & UK governments repressing some Jews is because their political opinions and political activities.
Latin American people in the US get thrown into concentration camps and deported regardless of whether they have any particular political opinion or political activities. Every year hundreds of African refugees drown in the Mediterranean because the EU discriminates on the basis of them being African. This violence and death is on the basis of characteristics.
