Uh, big tech should be taxed by default. We’re only in this mess because they elected the cheeto…
Well they are taxed, just not enough. That’s mostly because Ireland is borderline a tax heaven so US companies just base themselves there.
This was supposed to be solved by the global minimum corporate tax, which the US withdrew from.
They should make tariffs for them, like trade goods, just for data collection from EU citizens or people living in EU. You can not escape that.
