Hayao Miyazaki was once shown an AI programme that can make animations. However, the Studio Ghibli legend responded with, "I am utterly disgusted."

They do touch on AI animation at the end. He asks the tech bros what their goal was and they say to have a computer draw like a human which Miyazaki seems to be horrified at.
