Well she is having fun now, but soon it’ll be my turn enjoying the life, tinkering the Steam Deck to configure the emulators. Bliss!
Thanks for the Cassette Beasts recommendation. It was already on my wishlist but I’ll bump it up.
Thanks for the news!
Since I am in holidays, away from my gaming computer, I’ve only played Bloons TD6 and a bit of Vampire Survivors…
On the other hand, my daughter took my new Steam Deck and played:

Good, now make the engine open source Iike Carmack did for Doom 2 & 3 🤪
/s it will never happen as this game, although being great, is full of proprietary frameworks/3rd party libs.
Yes the first dives in Dave the Diver are wonderful with the beautiful pixel art.
But I found this game deeply disturbing: you kill the most fish possible to make the most money possible, but not the dolphins because they are cute. I found this game is a perfect symbol of the overproductivism of our era, while the earth is dying. I know it’s just a game, but the fact the game creator are not even aware of the philosophy their game is carrying, left a bitter taste in my mouth.
And yeah, the game is full of FOMO even in their dlcs, and the huge amount of collabs with other overly popular game make me think, in the end, it’s a pure empty marketing vessel. An it’s fake indie !
Dave the diver DLC is limited in time AND not free…Ouch ! I am glad I have lost interest in the game :)
I am playing 3 games in parallel:
Ah, and I have ordered my Steam Deck 🙈
https://docs.codeberg.org/getting-started/faq/#can-i-use-private-repositories-for-my-project?
Can I use private repositories for my project?
In many cases, yes, but please read on. Our goal is to support Free Content, and we do not act as a private hosting for everyone! However, if we see that you contribute to Free Software / Content and the ecosystem, we allow up to 100 MB of private content for your convenience. Further exceptions are spelled out in our Terms of Service:
Private repositories are only allowed for things required for FLOSS projects, like storing secrets, team-internal discussions or hiding projects from the public until they’re ready for usage and/or contribution.
If you are still not sure if your usage is allowed or if you require a lot of private space for a Free Software project, please send us a formal request and we’ll have a look.
So if you use a GitHub private repository to store some private data, e.g. your bash config or home server setup, Codeberg is not the right replacement. Any European alternatives?
When gog (or the publisher) delists a game, is it like on steam ? I.e. if you “own” the game before the delisting, you can still play it afterwards?
I played GTA from GTA 1 to GTA 4. I have always been more interested by the story and the atmosphere rather than the free roaming.
What I can say about them:
Then I gave up GTA all together. To be frank, I was a bit fed up with the American settings. Always the same street, atmosphere, culture… On the other hand, other games like Sleeping Dogs were a breath of fresh air. You really feel in another environment, and something as simple as driving left on the road is a great change.
One beast overrun.
Haste in green is wild though.

The senator is president of the party he is part of : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Independents_–_Republic_and_Territories_group
EDIT: Ah yes I get it. His party is affiliated with Horizons from Edouard Philippe: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horizons_(political_party)
Nevertheless, all the other comments have a point: Edouard Philippe is conservative, not extreme right.
The consulat in Strasbourg has been opened since 1866…
This is so hard to build something but so easy to destroy it.
Thanks for the post :) I want to start with Gog Linux gaming, but I am waiting for the Comet overlay support.
Then we will get the achievement notification in-game, it’ll be just perfect 👌🏼
And the worst is: your saves are not even stored in your IOI account: A Steam save is not visible on EGS and vice versa.
It seems the “always online” feature is just for the leaderboards, alias the stuff I don’t give a fuck about.
This is a shame because Hitman WOA is really great.
Plus Ludusavi afterwards to backup the saves !
Thanks :)
I had the same problem with Dead Cells: I could finish the game once, but impossible to continue with the Boss Cells activated. Thankfully, they introduced an “Assist Mode” with a later patch and I managed to continue playing.
What guarantees you that your cheap Chinese-made charge-only cable does not actually contain some malware injection in the hardware (connectors or cable rim) :p
