Those lil outings can be appreciated as long as your team knows and can trust what you just told us. It’s understandable if you’re not in control of that and can only do so much. Sounds like you’re not at the tippy top. Standing up for your team is the best thing you can do for them. Don’t stop.
If we could do that, no one know Marsha blackburns name
Skeleton crew, Mando, Boba, Ahsoka, and iirc Resistance are all set between OT and ST. Not disagreeing with your overall point, just that you have these in the wrong part of the cannon timeline for SW.
Thank you for the context.
I honestly expected that to be exactly that, overly alternating (at least from a stand point of majority of users) passwords. I was just curious as the grievance felt very case specific.
That’s certainly a problem I thankfully do not encounter, our Mac users use their O365 logins just like our PC users. If they forget it, they don’t need my help changing or checking it. I haven’t encountered the wifi at login issue, though. That probably piqued my curiosity the most. Our Macs use web auth for login by default (with option to use locally cached password instead) and it requires an internet connection to work. If the mac’s couldn’t/didn’t connect, most wouldn’t be able to login. I could absolutely see this being an issue in a new place where no internet connection has been established before the issue, like a hotel or airport.
They all have a JIC hidden local account too, though. If OPs MDM tools include this option, it could be helpful for the cited scenario(s)
I understand and agree with you but I’m a bit confused, is that in reference to part of my comment?
I’m just curious here, but what are your Mac users doing to lock their accounts so often that this has become such a recurring pain point?
I feel for you, ever since I got approval to move all our mac’s to kandji for management, I have less issues reported from Mac users than windows users.
If your school bought any of them lol I remember my high school having desks like these, and they had purchased A single left handed one and it was the only one in the school. Not very helpful if you didn’t have a class in the room where this only desk existed in the school
You are correct! I did get a reply from sonnet and there is a set of 2 fans I didn’t see in the case when I posted. This board plugs into their controller board when the inner case is slid into the outer case
After finding a video for a VERY similar desktop version of this module, I’m inclined to think you’re right now. The case for putting these on a desktop does have 2 fans mounted to the top rear. Disassembly in the video does not show or indicate that they have any power cables that require unplugging.
I think you’re right. I just looked up a video of a version of this module with an outer case, for desktop use. Otherwise looks the same inside. It looks like this might provider power to 2 top-rear mounted fans.
Maybe? It’s brushed over and not directly acknowledged in any documentation for the products that show it. If it is, I’m surprised they didn’t at least label it as such on the documentation so people would know it’s not intended for consumer use.
I initially thought that, too, but I’ve never seen a fan connector like what’s on the board. Judging from the product shots and manual illustrations, the case appears to have all of its fans, and they have more direct connections to the PSU.
Not saying you’re wrong (I have no idea lol) or arguing, just how I went from thinking fans too, to doubting it.
I bet that’s unauthorized use of trademark and McDs is gonna love it! 😂
Location info shouldn’t be needed, though. (Even though they should technically be able retrieve location data from any terminal on their own already. It’s all their hardware and network.) They should be able to geoblock traffic from Ukraine/Russia while having a kind of Allow filter for the terminals they know they provided for use by Ukraine.
It’s the same concept as blocking a country’s domains but allowing certain domains of that country through for emails. They just need to setup a “spam” filter.
potato bread/buns are great! Try it if you ever get a chance
it’s 1mm between the leads! 🙌 thank you for your help!
This post smacks of disingenuousness.
