In Romania, olx has a huge spam problem. There are scammers trying to scam sellers, since the platform encourages people to make phone numbers public.

As a buyer, I don’t like it either. Everything is overpriced. For example, I was looking for some ikea furniture and the only sellers in my area were asking like 80% of the price of a new one. Tech is overpriced too… Like $150-200 for an ancient i3 or i5 laptop with 4gb of ram… I can get a better deal on ebay (where shipping is at least $20-30).

Recently downloaded a “cast” app because Miracast doesn’t work on GrapheneOS. On first launch, I got 3 consecutive full screen video ads followed by a popup to “subscribe” to their paid service. Next, another popup to rate them 5* in google play store. Note that at this point, I haven’t even reached the main screen of the app… You know, to actually try it and see if it works.

Uninstalled that garbage and gave it the 1* rating it deserves.

Seriously, I’m so sick and tired of these “modern” apps which don’t even have the decency to offer a good quality paid version. $8/mo for a stupid utility I use maybe a few times a year? Who tf do you think you are?

Using apps on GrapheneOS, I also get notified when they use the play integrity API… I find it insulting when apps like Reddit attempt to access that… Seriously, you’re just an online forum. Why tf would you care about whether my phone is rooted or not?

The difference between 2nd and 3rd candidates is 2000 votes. There were 9 million votes in total. That’s insanely close. There is widespread fear that during the recount some votes will be nullified, and some will be changed in some god forsaken villages, resulting in an overturn (which will result in a re-election according to the constitution).

Candidate #1 is a pro russian fascist. #2 is progressive pro-european. #3 is just very corrupt and made a lot of people angry. If #1 goes against #2 in the second round, #2 has a decent chance of winning. #1 against #3 would be really bad, like having to choose between hitler and trump.
