You don’t give a fuck about Americans? Never would have guessed…

Criticism of America as usually pretty spot on, but a lot of recent criticism online has devolved to insulting every American individual and has plenty of schadenfreude vibes. It is especially galling since it is easy to imagine that this criticism comes from people or places that would be doing the same thing (or lack thereof) to fight this sort of cryptofascism in their own countries as well. How many of those complaining about the direction America is headed and how little the people are doing to stop it, would be totally disinterested if we were talking about Poland or Finland or Italy? Ultimately, I believe what we are seeing, in many cases, is really just an objection to how much their own country’s economics and military are tied to the whims or fortunes of the U.S.

Samuel L. Jackson is the first name to pop into my head upon reading the thread title.

Let’s go D.C.! Call his greasy, orange bluff!

Pfft. Mosaic is where it’s at.

By the time November rolls around and everyone has endured 5 more months of greasy orange bullshit, I would not be surprised if one or more of these seats goes Democratic.

I agree with both statements (or I would anyway if Saudi Arabia and Israel weren’t responsible for 9/11).

No matter what the orange shitstain wants and his mewling, fawning fake lawyers think, Congress would first have to pass a law saying that it could expunge impeachments, then it would have to vote to expunge, and then that would have to stand up in court and through appeals. Seems about as likely as him keeping his 1.776 m slush fund.

As a buyer, I like this. Then I know how much of the total transit time is the actual courier and how much of it is the seller finally getting around to giving the package to the courier after printing the label.

Can’t say as I give two fucks what happens to the kind of women who would become Southern Baptist preachers.

Tom Cotton is one of the most vile human beings to have ever walked the earth. He should be tried and executed for treason for this bullshit.

Nice. For me it’s an i7 7700k with 1080 ti that i upgraded a few years ago to n 8700k with a 2080 ti. Owned it since 2017 and it’s rock solid snd good enough.

This was my experience as well. Definite targetting. Most of the bans coming after being critical of Capitalism. The Reddit incels and rightoids like to whinge that Reddit is anti-right wing and moderates those viewpoints into oblivion, but it’s just cognitive dissonance or gaslighting. You can do just about anything short of direct threats or doxxing on Reddit and be just fine, as long as you don’t question that which is unquestionable, i.e. Capitalism. Even inside some very socialist or left-leaning subreddits you see this.

Sure, but I feel like only a smaller mom and pop type of establishment is going to forgo extra profits and provide more jobs for the people in their community in this way. There is no way a Kroger or Walmart is going to do that.
Not in the current state the human race finds itself. Maybe someday, but we are nowhere near there yet. Until then any attempt to create “a stateless, classless, currencyless society in which the workers own the means of production society” will likely fail and devolve into something terrible, whether they have good intentions or not, and whether they call themselves communist or not.

Me too. Unless you are going to lay hands on me (after which you have a bigger problem) I am just going to walk right by you and ignore you if you try to force me to do anything.
Please. The message I am taking away from his comments is that voting and protesting in and of themselves do nothing. That’s not nihilism, that’s useful advice. We need mutual aid and harm reduction networks that will allow for communities to have a critical mass of their members be fully supported by everyone else to they can effectively be “ungovernable” and engage in armed resistance, 24/7.
