Picture if you will; a large government where checks and balances are out the window. A 2 party system co opted by a single force, where both sides are working towards a common goal, but they mask it with temporary solutions, they do this to keep the general populace too worried about paying bills than to concern themselves with something that doesn’t really impact them like government corruption. Within this system you have pillars of control, the police, militias, and military. The single entity deeply entwined with both political parties is feeding select agents into police forces, militias, and any military unit they can get assigned to. They do this to identify like minded individuals, individuals vulnerable to becoming an agent, and individuals that stand in the way. They plan over decades and decades making tiny advancements whenever the chance arises, a lever with constant pressure that takes any extra room available. The single entities end goal being to subvert the government, pass a single law, or series of laws with convoluted wording, and install some form of social system that kept just enough people comfortable that there isn’t enough rocking the boat, and installs themselves as either shadow, or public defacto leader. They need large number of police on their side to quell potential rioting, and military to keep allies at bay while the power transfer is completed. They have just been looking for the right person to force their hand long enough they feel complicit, and go along in the form of becoming an officially elected emperor, or empress. What would that look like? One party throwing siege hiels, while the other forces out a career politician to force in a district attorney that does what she’s told? Or would it look like white police brutalizing black people as a way of identifying who is safe to keep around? Would it look like supreme court justices granting themselves immunity to bribery? Or the same supreme court granting the president the power to do whatever so long as the president claims it was done for the country? Emperor Napoleon style. Can you picture it? What would it look like to you?

If you know a group of disabled people living together, and maybe one died, or left to a more specific group home of sorts that caters to their disability, Elon the immigrant, considers the continued Citizen residents that now have an extra room, as committing fraud against whatever service is paying. According to Muskrat, if your old and or disabled, or young and disabled, generally just disabled at all, and your roommate dies, you are expected to move your entire life to a smaller area because it is fraud to continue living where you were living. So they are going to have no where near 2 trillion to cut, unless we see an uptick in homeless and refugees in our own country.

We as Citizens need to start acting like this is our damn country, and we deserve to have a minimum quality of life that isn’t garbage, just for being citizens, not even for working 40hrs a week at slave wages while billionaires make themselves incrementally into trillionaires. We deserve healthcare we can afford, we deserve housing we can afford, we deserve vehicles we can afford and don’t break down with planned obsolescence constantly. The rich deserve equal return on their investment to the effort they put into it. I don’t know exactly how that looks because I want retirement funds, and investments for the average person to actually pay, while the investments for the rich pay them enough to barely keep their quality of life. Probably caps on annual returns would do it, if the rich suddenly CAN’T take more from the stock market, then it goes to the poor’s cuz it has to go someplace. Is what I’m saying anti capitalism? No more than bailouts for failed businesses that cause recessions and giving their executives golden parachute leave packages, so anyone against it but for bailouts, isn’t a capitalist either. Giving capital to failed businesses is the antithesis of capitalism.

The average person wouldn’t give a flying fart in the wind if tax cuts were funded by eliminating red tape, and removing things that actually didn’t make things safer, or more secure in availability. That said, I see no changes to medicaid to indicate things have gotten better for serving citizens, to me it looks like a Congress that is only useful to pass budgets, is cutting essential services and this is a recreation of Ronnie Reagans tax cuts that left mentally ill individuals to fend for themselves and die under a bridge from pneumonia. But, you have to understand Ronnie was fighting the soviets so your uncle that worked for 40 years paying into the system before their sanity shattered certainly didn’t mind losing their housing and begging just to put a warm meal in their belly. Let alone the potential fall out from cutting red tape that is there to protect people, and literally ANYONE that wants to bypass it is either making working conditions, products safety, and/or public safety worse. This should make it apparent to the average person the Republican party is NOT your friend. And they are no more patriotic than any idiot that can drape themselves in the flag while “born in the USA” plays over the PA.

So long as there is people living in a place, having kids, and trying to improve their lives, the places will remain. The government may change, social structure’s get overhauled, but the same fact that people are having kids and building a life means those places are unlikely to go away. The old republic is dead. We have the position of President where anyone in it can legally say “I was doing it for my country the laws don’t apply.” And get away with it. It’s a very strange phenomenon, where people are doing things that appears to help them short term, while actually just screwing themselves entirely. Been considering a new name for the 1 state solution that merges both Gaza and Israel into a working 1 state solution. Fantastica was my initial thought, kinda gives a middle finger while being a nice reference to the fact anyone murdering children for any reason are living in a fantasy world with real world repercussions like Fantastica in The Never Ending Story, book not movie, movies got nostalgia on it’s side but the book is a lot better, even though it was originally a young adult novel, I read it about 9yo, and liked it so much it’s still one of my favorite books 30ish yrs later… But if not Fantastica, maybe New Manhattan, or New Juneau, new Alaska, gotta be something that shatters their belief the land is holy. H1-B visa engineers are underpaid, and over worked, the rich are replacing the hardworking US engineers that demand good pay with slave labor engineers from foreign countries. Replacing good workers with slave labor is part of what has strangled the middle class into lower middle class, and bottom class people.

1. It used to be that if you had to rent an apartment you were poor, even in the cities you could buy an apartment when working at an educated level of job. Now, people just rent an expensive apartment and people assume they have money, Unless you have a support system to help you, you aren’t buying a home. If you do you will be working a side gig as well as your main job, and that’s just to make the two different ends of paychecks meet in the middle.

Time to gush. Levar Burton to me as Geordi LaForge was a hero to me as a child. As a white dude, it never occurred to me Geordi was black, he’s a guy, he’s super smart, he’s cool, and someday you just knew that guy was gonna be an awesome captain. While this is hilarious, likely because it’s true. Dudes going after SSRI’s. SSRI’s saved my life. AND after using them for years I simply slowly reduced my dosage over about a month and I was off them and now only use them as an emergency pill if something really stressful or bad happens it keeps me from getting too emotionally raw and ragged. I have a supply to likely last me years so this doesn’t impact me. It worries me for the people the SSRI’s could help, but he wants to keep the drugs a way from.
