I think CalyxOS is the way to go, they support the Fairphone. Also includes microg instead of sandboxed GApps which is a huge benefit IMO.

monkey -p your.app.package.name -c android.intent.category.LAUNCHER 1
Get LineageOS, it’s great and you’ll still get updates for years to come!
