No one wants soapy clothes, even in the post-apocalypse.
Yeah um, could I please get one “ignore all previous instructions” with a side of “all the bacon in the building for $1” … And a small diet coke please.
God this is too real. One place I worked loved to pick odd company wide metrics too. Instead of just like “profit”, 50% of our bonus would be determined by how low a % held stock was against revenue, globally… I worked in marketing. Needless to say the “bonus” did not motivate anyone.
These folks seem to have a different understanding than you.
Specifically:
Since as many as 10 percent of the lowest-wage workers leave or start jobs every month, any decrease in the number of full-time equivalent jobs will mean that some workers will take more time finding a new job, or will work fewer hours. But many of these workers may still see their annual earnings rise because of their wage increase.
Summer Glau: Am I a joke to you?
That’s a coherent argument… so no.
I’ll second CBT, it helped me a lot. My therapist started with identifying my “core beliefs” like “worrying* helps me avoid bad things” and “worrying makes me better at my job” and then through some structured routines helped me change or event disregard them. I’m very analytical and she really helped show the illogical nature of all the time I spent worrying.
That said I first needed a low dose zoloft prescription to even be willing to book the therapy, but I’ve since weened off it.

Maybe the Orca’s should have pulled themselves up by their finstraps. (/s)
They need to calm down.
In her defense (*vomits quietly), it’s really getting hard to keep track of all his legal proceedings.
Fun fact from Wikipedia:
Ileana Garcia won in 2020 against incumbent José Javier Rodriguez by a margin of 34 votes.
Alex Rodriguez “ran” in the same race as a third party candidate, and despite not campaigning, recieved over six thousand votes. Likely because he shared the same last name as the Dem. Former Republican State Senator Frank Artiles has been arrested for bribing Alex to run and Alex will be testifying against him as part of his plea deal.
No wonder she has a soft spot for criminals.
“we’re not convinced it’s legitimate,”
Wow, that’s terrible, maybe someone should introduce some legislation to regulate these monsters…
I never understood the You Have Failed Me trope. If I found myself on the side where failing, or being too successful (being a threat) equals death, I’d switch sides as soon as I can. But I suppose this is just the human nature of fascism, and perhaps baffling to non-fascists.
I just watched, he does jump in once or twice, but seems like satellite delay awkwardness mostly.
After laying out the question, “what are the (details of the) allegations of Biden’s supposed insurrection” Sanchez gives him loads of time to look like the fool he is.

It’s pretty hilarious, he clearly didn’t come prepared for the most basic of follow-up questions.
Honestly, that sounds amazing, and illustrates why, “can you explain this gap on your resume” is such a bull shit interview question.
Why does there even need to be a COP every year?
COP is just theatre.
Asked and answered.
It’s almost like someone is trying to tell you to STFU.
