Yes. It enforces a bubble by its very nature. There is no main feed, by default you see people you follow and posts they interact with. I don’t have a problem with that. I wouldn’t go into a pub with racists, and xenophobes, so I shouldn’t have to do it online.

Also, if you look a the moderation settings, there is a lot of objectional content that is or can be hidden basic of topic flags. This is content that on any sane networks should be banned and the users suspended. But of Bluesky its just hidden from view.

TNG from the start, but Iimit yourself to the 4 or 5 best rated episodes from Season 1 and 2. Then crack on with most of 3 and 4. 5 onwards starts to have a few more clunkers but by then you should have a good idea if you like it enough to take a chance.

I saw your channel on maker tube (I think) today when I was looking for Jan Beta’s channel! You can use NewPipe (Android) as an app for Peertube, but it’s a bit fiddly in your normal Fediverse style when trying to find and sub to people/channels. Also, I don’t think you really subscribe via NewPipe. Subscriptions are just local and it doesn’t use a Fediverse account.

My issue with ENT is the treatment of female characters. It’s not just T’Pol, but she definitely comes off worse. It’s all pretty cringy watching it with 2023 eyes. That crap with the Doctor guilting T’Pol into sexy time Vulcan therapy with Tripp, for example. Urgh. Very much of the “FHM” era. That, and most (all?) the characters are unlikable. I’ve tried many times to watch it since the time but struggle with more than 1 or 2 episodes.

Measure of a Man is great. Buckle up for Season 3 - it is the best season of TNG. Yesterday’s Enterprise and Sarek are my personal favorites.
