I’d go for Matrix, with Element or Schildichat (not the next gen versions for now) as clients. It’s federated, which means you can choose which instance you want your account to reside on, end to end encrypted, has (video) calls, and some other features you wouldn’t necessarily expect from others like spaces for groups with several group chats, prioritizing conversations (low, normal, high / favorite) and threads inside a conversation.

Their FAQ says kind of:

Many other devices are supported by GrapheneOS at a source level, and it can be built for them without modifications to the existing GrapheneOS source tree. […] In most cases, substantial work beyond that will be needed to bring the support up to the same standards. For most devices, the hardware and firmware will prevent providing a reasonably secure device, regardless of the work put into device support.

The requirements that GrapheneOS has on the hardware, like relocking the bootloader and hardware level access, should be part of rights to repair / digital markets act imo. They are even considering producing their own hardware in the future.

Ergotopia is a German brand for office furniture, chairs in particular. Their desks look awesome as well.

They try to produce locally (germany) whenever feasible, a little more on that in their FAQ.

The GrapheneOS forums say there is no intent on implementing this. It will probably be locked behind Google play services anyway.

Could be a great opportunity for MLC Chat, which uses OpenCL.

Recently tried to make a printer scan a file to an exFAT formatted thumb drive, didn’t go well. Then tried moving a file from a windows to a linux machine using another exFAT formatted thumb drive, still no luck lol.

Vorne rechts ist glaube ich noch Frank Nopper, CDU Oberbürgermeister von Stuttgart, also ist Bawü als bayrisches Nachbarland auch vertreten 🎉

I have been to a Trigema outlet last year and couldn’t find anything i would like to wear. Sure they had shirts in every imaginable color, but only one form factor. The whole lineup seems to be catered to people 60+ years of age. The quality seems to be very good though.

Also, the founder Wolfgang Grupp is kind of cringe and very conservative, probably as well as his children who run the company now. Since he stepped down as CEO he regularly visits talkshows to display his antiquated world views.
