Tho shit has changed since then. The quality of audio and video has increased. Especially on the visual side this takes a lot more storage. More polygons and more pixels equal larger size.

Also, if I remember correctly, data is often stored in multiple places to make it more efficient to read it from BluRay or HDDs.

Luckily they allow to revert this change. Switching the display refresh rate down (esp to 40hz) brings some visual artifacts with it. So I normally just let it sit at 60 and pull the framrate limit to 30.

That one is a hard limit. Changing does not clear the error. Tho people have hacked around it if I remember correctly.

It is also nice to see if one of the spinners is blocked. Saved me quite a few batches.

Fun fact: bunny fights for dominance can be similar. They will just sit there nose-to-nose. Whoever starts grooming the other first looses.
