The US is literally a world away with huge resources of their own.
It’s North Africa and Arabia that are going to bear the brunt of it, and Europe too to a lesser extent (they at least have more access to the Atlantic).

The Samsung ones work fine, I got them from work.
I think it’d only possibly be an issue for rhythm games, etc. I was playing emulated games and noticed no lag.
Unfortunately I have to fly, so I can’t just put a huge battery in the car.
Por que no los dos?
Yeah, it’s one of the best games ever. The Case Of The Golden Idol was good too but not quite as great.
I’m holding out for Shadows Of Doubt.
Wow, this looks really fun I’d never heard of it. Have you played Octopath Traveller?
Yeah, I keep Slay The Spire installed too.
Wildermyth is fun too but unfortunately the performance is awful.
I never beat the final boss, like the game is relatively easy up to that point and then it’s a huge difficulty spike.
I received BattleBit Remastered as a birthday gift, it’s great. I hope they don’t drop Linux support.
Other than that I might buy Bugsnax.

However, since BattleBit is not competitive as CSGO or R6 etc, the restrictions become overkill for the majority of our player base, because of this, we are still investigating something in between EAC and FACEIT Anti Cheat in terms of requirements.
The improvements are awesome, great to see it sorted out before Reddit cuts off API access.
I just occasionally see error message popups for JSON syntax errors.
Depends what’s on sale - but I’ll buy Baldur’s Gate 3 soon or at release, maybe Starfield too depending on performance.
I’d really love a game that’s playable on the Steam Deck on the TV though, Rocket League and SpeedRunners has been great for this. Even moreso if it has local multiplayer.
BattleBit Remastered has been really fun with M+KB recently (and they backed down on the anti-Linux anticheat for now), I wish there were something similar for sports games just focussing on fun over realism, like the old SNES football and hockey games. Something like Mario Strikers but where you manage a team and their stats and abilities, etc.
As mentioned here please consider donating to Lemmy development and (in our case) the Lemmy.world instance.

With AI-generated images too this is a real minefield.
Honestly I’d rather we just de-federate from porn instances entirely, people can sign up there directly if they want that.
Hmm something happened in 2008-2009 though, as it was when I migrated and I remember loads of people were doing it at the same time.
It might have just been Reddit having a cleaner, more direct interface, and a better community.
Worth noting that the main migration happened in 2007 and start of 2008, but look how it managed to drag on for another 4 years before really dying.
I think the same will happen here - like there’ll be a lot of users on Reddit still, but it’ll be heavily corporate controlled and moderated, and most comments will be on the level of “Putin small pp” etc.
Wow this happened to me last night, that’s good to know.
Subscribed should be the default if you have any subscriptions i.e. are logged in.
But it’s also nice to have stuff indexed in Google when looking up product reviews and technical issues, etc. - it’s a double-edged sword.
Ideally it’d be possible to make some comments pseudonymous at least (so only instance admins, or possibly community moderators could see the real author).
Only CVE-2024-31083 is relevant for non-remote server use-cases.
