If that was a catalyst for many others to do the same instead of an isolated incident, we wouldn’t have called it an assassination. We would have called it a revolution. In the kind of time and society we find ourselves in, this is the closest we’ll ever get to a revolution. And I say, viva la revolución!

This year in particular has just been a fucking awful job market. I lost my job in January and had severance last a couple months, but even after spending every day reading job boards and filing job applications until I was emotionally exhausted, I had zero callbacks for seven months. It was only a few months ago that I got two interviews, and I got offers from both. As soon as I accepted, I had some other companies suddenly crawling to me with offers. I’m still recovering from my debts accrued in that time, but I’m finally in a much better place now. Keep going at it, and I promise something will crack.

If anything, all I can really imagine that’s necessary is to not worship him. Kind of like when you get out of grade school and find out that the US founding fathers were not in fact gods, but disgusting men that were products of their time.

I remember that for a time, JC Penney focused on honest pricing and abandoned common predatory prices. They came close to bankruptcy and went back to their old ways. The psychology of feeling like we got a good deal is so ingrained into most people that it becomes difficult to run a business without those things

Now that Citra isn’t available, Nintendo knows I have no choice but to buy Samus Returns on my Switch!

In general I’d agree, although Citra feels like an exception. I’m not quite sure why they targeted that one so hard.

I just finished watching the debate myself, I don’t know if she dodged more than once, she certainly didn’t do as much dodging as he did. But she 100% dodged answering why the Biden administration hasn’t removed Trump-era tariffs without even a hint of addressing it. I’m not a big fan of what that entails, I think globalization in US economy might be coming to a screeching halt no matter who gets elected.

SteelSeries always seemed like the new-age version of Corsair. I used to have Corsair everything and got disillusioned with the build quality and software functionality loss over the years, and when SteelSeries came into play I watched some of my friends do the exact same dive. It seemed like they were a decently priced, decent quality peripherals brand when they started, but now it seems like they shared the same fate. I’m definitely done with brand loyalty, and I trust what I build more than anything I buy.

Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope.

I had a friend online who was a gamer grandma until she passed. She was the sweetest person and such fun to play with, may she rest in peace.

So, how many more generations before people finally escape Nintendo’s crafted stereotype that games are for young boys? Never? Fantastic. I’ll try not to think about how I’ll magically be too old for games in 7 months.

I recently had to replace my phone and just needed something working. Not even a fan of Samsung but I bought a Z Flip 4 for like $300 and it has like a scratch or two on the screen I barely notice. It’s been fantastic and I see no reason to really get a 5 or 6…

I wish I could have done something like that. Strangely enough, that time I was technically early, because after I got to the empty gate way past departure time, I hadn’t realized I scheduled my flight a week later than I thought. I didn’t think I could get it moved up, and I ended up buying really expensive tickets same day.

I’ve just about keeled from trying to catch a plane, stressed out and with hypertension. I have and will wait for a full 8 hours outside my gate.
