February 14th is my birthday so of course I hate Valentine’s Day, I can’t hang out with my friends 'cause they’re hanging with their girlfriends, and if I’m in a relationship I have to go buy flowers and stuff the day of my birthday instead of just chilling and playing videogames which I honestly prefer. And don’t get me started on people assuming I like everything heart shaped and stuff…

If these two events were a separate thing I’d probably be OK with Valentine’s Day TBH.

Besides cricket, it’s worth mentioning that there is a lot of baseball happening in Latin America and The Caribbean between October and February. At least 4 of the 6 teams in the Dominican baseball league (LIDOM) offer live streams you can watch for free and legally from anywhere in the world, and a lot of the talent playing in the Dominican Republic has played in MLB which makes the game feel familiar. Besides the Dominican Republic there’s baseball happening in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Venezuela at the same time. Other countries that may have a fall-winter league are Cuba, Panama and Colombia, but I’d have to double check.

Contorting until fainting is not dancing, unless you have some sick and twisted definition of what dancing is.

I mean, I could be posting about the Dominican Baseball League (LIDOM) which I follow, but that’s not MLB and probably not allowed in this community. I don’t shut up about LIDOM on Mastodon, some MLB players are participating too, as always.

Because then I’m giving my phone more responsibility and the goal is to take away some from it, I don’t want to be reading and get bombarded with notifications from social media, or get calls, or drain my battery by doing do. I want a dedicated device for that, an a tablet is more capable than an e-reader. I also want to practice writing and a tablet with a digital pen is good for that purpose.

Tablet is just a bigger screen…

And this is why I got a tablet, I needed more space in my screen 🤷‍♂️
