Even more boring than I’d have you believe.
What does the G stand for tho? Edit: oh grandparent?
I understand what it means in context here, but what does GP stand for? Figure it’s not a typo of OP.
I understand why Harry Potter found a place in everyone’s hearts. But with the behavior of the author, the books are in hindsight a lot more mean spirited than I remembered. That hatred for me and my loved ones bled into the books quite a lot now that I can recognize it.
No that’s the Rubicon. Rubric is the guy who directed The Shining
Not necessarily. Nonbinary covers a broad range of gender identities that don’t all exclusively use they/them.
Oh wow I remember loving their work when I was on Twitter. The atmosphere with all of their pieces are so cool and unique. Shame all of their work seems basically impossible to look at without making a Twitter account 😕
The term you’re looking for is cisgender. Trans = “on the other side of”, cis = “on this side of”
Absolutely, there’s a lot of stories that would have been better received as their own original IPs. Unfortunately, it’s a lot safer to make a sequel so you can count on sales from the pre-established fanbase. Another good example I always go to is the Thief video games, where I got my username. The reboot dramatically changed all the mechanics and ditched a lot of what made the first games so engaging, very little aside from a few proper nouns has any resemblance to the original. It could have been a decent stealth game if it sold itself on its own merits(it certainly wasn’t terrible) but as a Thief game, it justifiably got fans upset.
It could have been an acceptably decent movie if it wasn’t trying to be part of the GitS franchise. As a GitS fan I hated it, but I wonder if it could have been more fun to watch if I was unfamiliar with the series. I remember thinking the same with a lot of movies based on books I hadn’t read like Percy Jackson, the movie became a lot worse after reading the source material.
what if the world was made of pudding
That greentext has singlehandedly stopped me from fully hating AI, it still makes me crack a smile to this day.
This shit ain’t nothing to me, man 🧛♂️
Oh yeah, I was trying to say that I agree. Switching on the fly to an entirely different class and playstyle(especially if a class has RP implications like paladin) seems like it would undermine a lot of the fun of the role playing portion of the rpg
Is it really worth it to be talking to most corpses with Speak With Dead? I’ve only done it once or twice and didn’t get much useful info out of it
I’ve only respec’d twice so far and both were to better fit the playstyle I already had. Switched Karlach from Wildheart to Berserker since I prefer the extra attacks, and switched Astarion from Arcane Trickster to a Gloomstalker Ranger with proficiency in thieves tools because that’s exactly how I’ve been playing him from the beginning.
I’ll be damned if I abandon my paladin oath to play another class.
I used a crooked wand of fireball I found for pretty similar results, evens the playing field quite a bit at the cost of some healing afterwards
No, this was if you went down to the underdark. I forgot there were other options for where to go when i made the post. I’m excited to do another playhthrough and check that route out though, it seems intriguing.
This one is off to a great start. Usually in episode 1 of a season, I’m shaky on a character or two, but I immediately enjoy everyone at the table at their characters.
Brennan always does a fun mystery, so a detective story is already super fun and engaging. Production value on this one is also fantastic, I love the work they were doing with the dome and lighting. I immediately think Mentopolis is going to be a season I rank pretty high as far as D20 campaigns go.
