I can disable AA on my device no problem. But I use it sometimes too so that isn’t a great solution. I agree that it is a mess though.

You are over complicating it. I suggest starting out with some sort of VPN. Wireguard is super simple to setup with a wg-easy container

He is also using it with maps which doesn’t work with Bluetooth. Steering wheel allows scrolling true the current playlist not select others. Voice control is more then useless it for some reason can not get a single word right and makes a mess of things.

I have also seem more complicated fix attempts by tricking a parking break sensor or something but that isn’t possible with this car (Audi etron)

One of the best Roms for a Pixel is Grapheneos. Personally I use a Pixel 7 pro with it and it works great.

I use grapheneos on A P7 pro. Banking apps work fine because the bootloader gets locked with grapheneos. This is what most banking apps would complain about. Also if it for some reason requires google play services this is available too in a sandboxes way.

Most likely you could have restored it by installing the launcher back with adb or worst case reset the device. That will bring back all apps as well. Unless you have a rooted phone and removed the apps that way.

This is such a annoyance I hat this happen on a tablet once. Didn’t know the login of it anymore and i hat to do some trickery to get it reset.
