Why did the Democratic party reduce Covid leave to just 5 days, when it takes at least a week or more to fully recover? Why did they remove the masking mandate when infections are still happening and disabling people?

If you want to advance humanity through free libre software, look at the FLOSS movement; that’s kinda their whole thing. Releasing a small piece of software on GitHub and providing some decent documentation on it is a nice thing to do.

The egregiously exploitative flavor of capitalism that exists today is a relatively recent development. I don’t think it’s intrinsic to humanity at all; humanity has been communist for most of our existence. Also, capitalism has a specific meaning; it means the means of production can be privately owned, and that owner gets to decide how many breadcrumbs to give to the workers.
