True, this is why I said in two years start thinking about a PS6, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to spend $700 on a 6 year old console when $300 to $500 more can get a mid-range PC or for the similar price get a Steam Deck/Machine. If they get a PS5 today then it will still be relevant for another 5ish years, but will they have buyers remorse if they had just waited for a PS6, who knows.
Interesting that both of you mentioned Valve games running like crap on console that were specifically made for Steam and PC then ported to console. Sounds like you should play PC games or at Valve games on PC and forget about playing them on console.

Keep in mind, PS5 is nearing the end of its life cycle, like 2(?) more years and Sony is preparing for the PS6.
I would suggest getting a mid-range PC and in 2 years you can decide to either stick with PC and perform some upgrades or work towards a PS6.
The only thing I would add is the games on PS5 vs PC is they’re optimized for the console
I rent a lot of vehicles for work when traveling, I can’t say I thought “I could see myself owning one of these” or even enjoyed driving Cadillacs, Jeeps, Chevy or Fords. The Jeeps were junk, the transmissions were way out of tune with the engine and the suspension felt like I was in a horse carriage. The Fords all had huge gas tanks, turned like boats, and the computer kept glitching. The Chevy had good performance but felt cheap. I couldn’t figure out why anyone would think a Cadillac was a luxury vehicle, It was like driving a Kia but everything was loose.

Service dispatcher is tough because you have to deal with customers and finicky technicians. No one wants to make your job easy and in fact feels like they are trying to sabotage you.
Trucking dispatcher is mostly automated in large businesses. Meaning a single person manages a whole warehouse or distribution center, and everyone else is just stocking shelfs or loading trucks.
For the local deliveries there’s two kinds, the regular scheduled (planned) deliveries and the parcel type like amazon delivery. The oncall parcel type is the most stressful and has the highest turnover. It’s usually subcontracted out so there’s very little stability.
Long haul deliveries is planned long in advance has lots of built in automation and requires someone that can plan far in advance and be willing to make decisions that can bankrupt companies because orders are lost or didn’t make it on time. They have strict schedules and operating procedures. So they are stressful jobs because a single mistake can be devastating but you are usually a cog in the machine so as long as you do your job, you should be fine.

All because they can fire a whole division that’s responsible for physical media to improve margins. Then control and limit the users ability to be able to play the content at virtually no cost to them, while also forcing them to purchase a subscription (double dipping) to be online, while also enforcing an always online policy so they can collect data (triple dipping).
Someone will be getting a new yacht and the users will be getting less value for more cost. PS5 is my last console, it sucks anyway.
