@MudSkipperKisser @MiddleWeigh Welcome. You only need one account. With one account you can talk and see post and everywhere. Best thing about having a local account is having your own frontage of all the communities you follow. Just like Reddit in it’s own way

@Confuzzeled I signed up when the blackout started on the 12th I think lots of us where just trying to find a new home and came to whatever was open lol I was on lemmy.ml realized it was crashing then came to lemmy.world and haven’t looked back

@LachlanUnchained I was on Reddit for 6 years and never heard of decentralized anything. I used this one twitter app and it was like login to mastodon. Like wtf is a mastodon 😭😭

@CannaVet @ZephyrXero Admins need to make it clear that this is a reddit alternative. it’s not reddit. They need to hurry up because June 30th The next wave of the reddit migration will come over and overload everything. Admins need to put it in the sidebar when users first join

@Lemmyin Takes about 1 day and then you are a pro. I have a mastodon account and lemmy account. and i’m satisified. just downloaded ivory for my iphone for mastodon

@c2h6 @nieceandtows They are fixing it should be fixed in next update. To make your feed fun sort by new post and sort by new comments. Makes everything so nice.

@Rick look for an Android app here https://joinfediverse.wiki/Apps and you should be fine. The scrolling is cause of the site specifically. The apps control it

@MadCybertist @SonNeedGym @hydra @Hedup Yep. They might seem like there talking but you will be talking to yourself. They have to federate to be able to talk and see all there comments and post. you might see some stuff now cause its cached but once they reboot or whatever you won’t see anything

@alejandro Got it you are probably referring to reddit gold were you revisit a post and all the new comments are blue.
