That was my thought. Most games that are on both PC and Switch are not big enough to want to pay Denuvo for their services. Any game that is big enough to care probably also can’t afford to take the Denuvo performance hit (that they claim doesn’t exist) on the under-powered Switch.
I’d guess .net is only needed for the launcher, did you try just skipping it?
Set launch options to…
eval $( echo "%command%" | sed "s/Launcher\/LariLauncher.exe'.*/bin\/bg3_dx11.exe'/" )
In the US I’ve never met anyone that uses WhatsApp. I think this is because texting was free for everyone here for a long time before it came out, so there was no real reason to move to a messaging app over what was already built in and free.
So, just buy property and sell it for an inflated value in the near future. Repeat forever. Sounds like an amazing plan. What reason could someone possibly have for not doing this? Can anyone think of one?
Also, the idea that real estate is required to go up in value no matter what is sort of insane.
On a large phone (so almost all of them) gesturing is much easier than reaching for a button. When I first switched it was slightly awkward because of muscle memory, but after a while gestures felt much better.
From a FOSS standpoint, AMD is clearly better since Nvidia doesn’t provide an open source driver and actively prevents one from being developed (that is feature complete) by anyone else.
From a gaming standpoint, I don’t think it makes much difference either way. Both companies make cards and have drivers that work very well for Linux gaming. Nvidia are usually a bit faster at supporting new cards on Linux, but that only matters if you are buying a card right at launch.
The main sticking point is Wayland vs Xorg. While you CAN use an Nvidia card for Wayland at this point, you are likely to run into some issues and it won’t be as nice of an experience as AMD. Nvidia will probably fully support Wayland eventually, but there is no guarantee.
Finally, if you need CUDA you just go with Nvidia.
It really comes down to your exact needs and how much you care about open source software as a principle.
Vanced distributed a modified Youtube apk which infringed on Google’s intellectual property rights. ReVanced is on much stronger legal ground since they only distribute their own software, the manager and patcher, and the patches to the Youtube apk. AFAIK the three strikes policy has to do with how ads are blocked on the youtube website so I guess we will have to wait and see.
There is a new project, ReVanced. They only provide patches so can’t really be shut down by Google.
I’ve always hated reddit hosted videos, the performance was terrible. A link to youtube was always so much faster. I guess it made sense for subreddits that focused on video content, but I never cared about any of those.
