The main point is that they are all being collectively punished from being associated with left-wing parties, by Israel who cancelled their visas. Meanwhile Israel invited the french fascists to a conference on antismitism.
“Invited by the French Consulate in Jerusalem, our missions for 35 years have helped strengthen international cooperation and the culture of peace. For the first time, two days before our departure, the Israeli authorities revoked our entry visas, even though they had been approved a month earlier,” wrote 17 of these 27 elected officials in a statement.
“We want to understand what led to this sudden decision, which resembles collective punishment. (…) This revocation of our authorizations to enter Israel 48 hours before our departure represents a major rupture in diplomatic ties with the French State and our mandates as elected officials of the Republic, which requires an unequivocal position from the highest authorities of our State,” they continued.
“For decades, we have been calling for and demanding that France recognize the Palestinian state. France is finally preparing to take the step of this recognition. It is a courageous act, which would pay tribute to its history and our vision of democracy, liberty, equality, and fraternity,” these elected officials added.
“Deliberately preventing elected officials and parliamentarians from traveling cannot be without consequences. We demand that this situation be clarified, that our delegation be received by the President of the Republic, and that he do everything possible with the Israeli authorities to authorize us to travel again as soon as possible,” they concluded.
This delegation will hold a press conference in Paris on Tuesday.

This trend just yells peak capitalism to me. What are people meaning by posting themselves as toys, are they finding it fun to he seen as collectibles, consumer products? Out of every setting one could picture themselves, this is what they enjoy? Bring broken down to their marketable parts?

Depends on the stress, if its just a tense situation I try to keep my eyes open, think about the events unfolding and the options available to deal with it, if there is a need to deal with the situation. If its anger related stress, I get a rush of energy and feel the need to get up and walk, this allows me to let the steam off. If it becomes too much to deal with, I tend to retreat back into myself, take as little place as possible, lie down if possible, my brain usually can’t stop thinking but doing something autonomously (doomscrolling or anything else) helps.

Je serais pas aussi généralisant sur les jeunes, il y a énormément de profils différents selon le lieu où ils vivent, la culture de leur famille, le contexte socio économique de leur département, que sais-je encore…
S’il y a un problème avec la technologie, je dirais que c’est surtout l’analphabétisme informatique, le b2i existe encore et on pourraitpar exemple accompagner les élèves dans leur maîtrise du smartphone plutôt que d’en faire un objet tabou et les laisser dans l’ignorance
Là l’interdiction je pense que ça délaie juste leur capacité à comprendre l’outil, et c’est prompt à une utilisation pas saine, rien que pour ça ce n’est pas une solution efficace au long terme
Faut toujours interdire voyons, jamais guider et apprendre, le problème est éliminé ou n’est pas

Des fois il y a des deals pour deux médias, genre en début d’année il y avait Politis + Arrêt sur Images à 89€ pour un an je crois, mais je pense que ça vient du fait que la plupart des médias sont possédés par diverses entreprises, donc que c’est pas aussi simple de consolider en un seul abonnement
Non mais ça reste sur le sujet, on parle dune loi montée à la va vite, critiquée sur beaucoup d’angles, c’est intéressant de voir plein de points de vue!
