6·2 years agoWhat does cloudflare have to do with k8s? Maybe you’re confusing it with load balancer.
To answer your question, yes, some big instances are actually using CF protection to mitigate DDoS attacks.
Do you happen to know why v0.18.2 is available in tags, yet not in releases? I see that majority of lemmy instances are running BE 0.18.2.
Lost mine too, had an .ml domain for testing servers. Was baffled why the DNS won’t resolve, then I see this.

4·2 years agoOne thing I just noticed is the privacy policy. It proxies the data to their server and can collect analytics. I do understand it’s to circumvent CORS, but still we’ve to keep that in mind.
