Unfortunately that doesn’t help on stock Android.
My workaround is to ask Gemini to take a screenshot. It’s ridiculous but it works.
Avatar is a lemming in bed because this account wasn’t intended to be used except for creating communities… and then my instance announced it was closing.

I just want to take a screenshot without the loudest possible shutter sound which makes it appear that I’m trying to take covert photos.
I mean, surely a toggle to get rid of that nonsense should be easy? I’m sure it never used to happen a few versions ago.
Had you been watching Wallace & Gromit?
I’m not sure I believe in past lives, but that sounds very much like the sort of thing which would be used as evidence for you remembering a past life.
Just as a point of interest, it doesn’t work properly in the Android version of Firefox. Use Chrome.
Guessing it’s the sales tax? Most countries will price things with tax included, not add it on afterwards.
I was going to draw the line somewhere between Europe and Asia 🙂. But some sort of customisation of countries/regions sounds like it might be a better approach.
To be fair I’d not heard of Malbolge so whatever.
I would have put Perl as lawful evil, Brainfuck as Chaotic Evil and maybe ASM should have been Neutral Evil
I run it on a Raspberry Pi 4 (I happened to have a spare one, also BUY EUROPEAN and all that). There’s a dedicated image for it.
I had a survey from my local (Tory) MP. On it were “on a scale of zero to ten, how important are these national issues to you?” Alongside obviously important stuff like the NHS, was “Immigration”. I rated it Zero.
Hug a cactus today 🌵🤗
You can also link this to Bitwarden and generate aliases direct in the browser plugin. It has a tendency to forget the API keys though.
And what about those European countries which aren’t in EU or EEA…?
Maybe you need a geographic location identifier underneath with some colour coding? Green for Europe, Red for USA, Orange for everywhere else.
Also of note is that the Tado integration broke last month, and is fixed in this update. I’m surprised it didn’t get a mention.
Right… so Campbell’s claim to own them but their site points to “Kettle Brands” which seems to be US based.
According to another post they are owned by Valeo. Their site points to Kettle Foods, which seems to be UK based.
I suspect at some point the US and UK parts of the company have been split up, although it’s very confusing that they seem to have the same branding.
I’m pretty sure that eliminating DEI is against EU law, so I’m not sure how they are supposed to conform (and, of course, they shouldn’t). Maybe sue the US government for breach of contract and move on.
Scanned some random stuff around the house. I find the EU-centric thing a bit odd:
Norway was still in Europe last time I checked. It shouldn’t have a big warning for European companies that aren’t EU members. Sure; word it differently if you like, but don’t dissuade from supporting European companies just because they aren’t EU members.
Aha! I turned the notification volume off, not the ring volume. That works, thank you. Still shouldn’t be necessary but at least I can shut it up now!
