Did not play PoE1 a lot, but I have like 500 hours in PoE2 and I love some of the mechanics (souls-y combat, skills and supports, visual style …). It took me a while to realize the fact that it’s basically a medieval fantasy themed casino, and that just made me not wanna play anymore. Just couldn’t believe the amount of gambling as you even just approach endgame.
