Again, Mintpress News support the state-capitalist authoritarian regimes of Russia and China, whilst claiming to be left wing.

They frequently parrot state propaganda, including lies about Russia’s invasions of Ukraine, the Syrian civil war, and assorted George Soros nonsense.

Their funding is not transparent, and like Grey Zone frequently publish stories from contributors who appear on RT and Sputnik, such as Vanessa Beeley.

The Gray Zone are literal Putin apologists and are just parroting state propaganda against Bellingcat.

While The Grey Zone claim they take no funding from nation states, the editor Max Blumenthal frequently appears on Sputnik and RT.

Yet again an example of nutjobs projecting on to others what they are actually doing themselves.

How anyone in 2024 can claim to be left wing and apologise for state-capitalist authoritarians is beyond me.

Whenever I’ve had caveities I find that tooth is extremely sensitive to milk chocolate and registers quite a bit of pain.

So get a small milk chocolate bar, chew up a chunk so it’s like a paste and push it with your tongue to the tooth you think has a cavity. If you do, you’ll know.

It won’t tell you had bad a cavity it is, but it will tell you if you have one.

The short answer is that the name for “old world” countries in a language isn’t translated, it is simply what “we” call “them”, not what “they” call themselves.

Using Greece as an example for English, English has a lot of French influence, which in turn had a lot of Latin influence. It is believed the early Latin (ie modern day Italian) peoples first met Graecians, a tribe likely from Boeotia in modern day Greece, and used the name to refer to all people from the same place. By the time of the Romans, this was the name and was then spread throughout the empire, including back to Greece itself.

A more modern or current example would be how people often called The Netherlands, Holland. Same idea, just several millenia apart.
