Oh yeah forums are pretty cool. It’s like a massive treasure chest you can sort through. I still enjoy using a few forums like Gamerfaqs and XDA developers.

Niche communities are awesome ! Sadly reddit is still the king in this aspect.

Maybe in a few years lemmy will reach that level or even surpass it… One can dream.

I hope more active users move to the fediverse. That way we will have a lot of variety in content and can also potentially prevent communities from becoming echo chambers. I suppose moderation will also have to be taken up a notch for these changes to actually have a positive effect.

If you are using a lemmy app on your phone, switch to the list view so that the thumbnail becomes smaller and the title important parts appear easily interactable.

Thanks for sharing this, but I have found another way to control the volume. I’m using back taps on my phone to control the volume now. It’s very convenient.

Thanks for the details. Surprisingly I have a similar setup using Nova Launcher but I’m using gestures on the homescreen in general rather than individual app icons.

I think your approach is more intuitive. I need to fiddle with my launcher settings or maybe consider using action launcher to incorporate that into my setup.

• Icons: Your Circle Icon pack. Each icon my homescreen is a folder disguised as an app.
• Search dock has been configured to use ChatGPT’s voice feature as it sounds much more natural than Google Assistant or Bixby.

I kind of wanted my homescreen to have that Material Gruvbox look but the icons are a tad bit brighter which breaks the design language.

God probably exists outside of our understanding . There may be things different from atoms, that we humans are not able to conceptualize. So god may very well be made out of something other than atoms.

I think there are services which offer temporary phone numbers like mysudo for instance. That being said, I have never used such services so I don’t know how viable it is.

I hope they don’t abandon the small phone size. Also they need to make it available in more regions.
