It must be.
It must be.
Kingdom come deliverance 2 is not even a bad game but how can it be number 7? It’s been out for two months… it’s hardly influenced anything. The first one would make more sense but only because of the dedication the team put into making it. Bizarre entry, and while I don’t agree with shenmue being more influential than doom, super Mario bros or even sonic for that matter, I guess I never played it that much when it came out.
Even Celeste dev did it
I haven’t tried but I imagine there would be a few games going, most likely die hard coh players that would wipe the floor with me. Probably best to play coh 2 for multiplayer. Coh 1 for skirmishes and campaign
Company of heroes, the original version. Still a very good game and unlike the two sequels, is not so dlc heavy and is more about tactics than just spamming tanks and landmines, though I still sometimes do that.
3700 hours. You must have committed a lot of crimes against humanity.
Developers want to cash out. Company going public. Will most likely have to do some things to keep investors happy, involving what is now known as enshittification.
This is what I would suggest. Very unique art style and still memorable all these years later.
I used to use opensuse and it was always a solid distro. I switched to manjaro after because I wanted to try an arch based system, that was not arch btw, it was also solid. I have settled on fedora though for many years now and I doubt I’ll ever switch again. At least for me, it does give better performance in games like csgo/2, not as good as windows but I also didn’t have any issues with the last of us, after a few patches anyway. Red dead redemption 2 runs better than on windows with fedora (for me).
I use fedora btw.
Quick review:
‘tis shite
I’m good. Trying to figure out which remote part of the world I’d like to visit, maybe stay there.
It’s a baby plumbus
Maybe the dreams are true reality and what you perceive as being awake is simply a faded memory of what you believe happened. After all, your memories are mostly made up anyway.
I think I got the first iPhone 3G. Then I moved to android and my last android phone was google pixel 3. Changed to iPhone 13 and been with that ever since. Similar tech history for sure.
Are you me? This is my tech journey also, including fedora on desktop and laptop, iPhone without any upgrades for last 3 years.
I appreciate your response. I think you are better at expressing some of the things that brought me down this avenue of thought, I’m working on getting better at putting my thoughts into words though. I believe there must be some sort of balance between nomadic tribe member and modern man, yet we may have gone past the tipping point somewhere in the past. Now menial work is the bigger part of life whereas before, essential work was the bigger part (hunting for meat or gathering berries).
It’s fine. Downvotes mean nothing really, it’s just a variable stored on a web server somewhere. I’m happy that at least someone engaged in good faith though. I think I romanticise a simpler living but not because it would make me happier, I just imagine it would. I have just read “earth abides” by George Stewart and the main character goes through the motions of trying to restart civilisation after a disease wipes out humanity. It just set me off down a path of similar thinking.
Man became aware at some point in history. Now I have to work 40 hours a week. I think I need a holiday…
I am assuming, of course. I don’t have any proof to back what I said, it was a showerthought. Isn’t the purpose of a showerthought post to share it with other people? I’m open to accepting new viewpoints and hearing others, I think the post was downvoted anyway so it was probably not a great pov but I accept the naturalistic fallacy as the right answer, you win!!
He’s probably on human growth hormone and testosterone replacement therapy for “longevity”. Maybe he doesn’t workout enough though, so he won’t have the overdeveloped physique of typical anabolic abusers. Just the extra testosterone and hgh can cause muscle growth on their own, doesn’t mean you get huge all over though.
